When she was in high school Jennie threw a six-hit games and 13 no-hitters. Following graduation, she attended the University of Arizona and was awarded a triple-time All American pitcher, as well as a first-baseman. It is the Honda Award, given to the best softball players in America in 2001 after the Wildcats won the title of champions in national competition and, in 2002, was won by her.
